Customer Expectations

We are grateful you have chosen to ride with Rainey. At Rainey Used Cars, our mission is to become the greatest car company by being the greatest care company. But to accomplish this, we need to agree on some expectations—our expectations of you and your expectations of us. If any of these do not seem reasonable, then talk to your sales representative—a Rainey car may not be right for you.

ON-TIME PAYMENTS

  • Our finance company expects on-time payments.
  • To ensure on-time payments, your sales representative will give you a folder that shows when your first payment is due, the amount of your car payment, and how often you will pay.
  • The finance company reports payment history to TransUnion, Experian, and Equifax. Paying on time will help you build good credit.

OUR SERVICE DEPARTMENT

  • Our service department’s mission is to keep your car on the road so that you can get back and forth to work, to school, and to all the other important things in your life. We cannot fulfill this promise to you if we allow our service department to become bogged down with minor repairs. Because of this, our service department does not repair cosmetic issues like dents or scratches, and we do not repair non-critical items like radios, fog lights, or nuisance check engine lights.

WARRANTY

  • Rainey Used Cars proudly stands behind every vehicle we sell by including a 6-month, 6,000-mile warranty. For a $100 deductible, our warranty will cover all major issues that would keep you from getting back and forth to work.

YOUR MAINTENANCE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Properly maintaining your vehicle is important. An oil change every 3,000 miles is only one example of what you can do to prevent major problems down the road. Warranty work will not be covered by our service department if you cannot provide service records showing a history of regular oil changes.

INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS

  • By signing this contract, you agree to obtain physical damage insurance with a $500 deductible, and you agree to maintain this coverage for the term of the loan. If you do not provide proof of physical damage insurance, we will purchase a policy to protect our collateral and bill you for the cost. This is known as our collateral protection program, which we refer to as CPP. Remember, state law requires you to obtain your own liability insurance, which is your responsibility to maintain. If you have further questions about our insurance requirements, your salesperson will be happy to provide a more detailed explanation.

Like any good relationship, communication is key. Proper expectations are essential in establishing this relationship and we hope this has helped make these expectations clear. Welcome to the Rainey family where our mission is to become the greatest car company by being the greatest care company.
